The Cross, a British rock band formed in 1987 by Queen drummer Roger Taylor,
emerged during a hiatus from Queen following their Magic Tour. The band
initially featured Taylor on rhythm guitar and vocals, alongside guitarist
Clayton Moss, bassist Peter Noone, drummer Josh Macrae, and keyboardist Spike
Edney. Their debut album, Shove It, was released in 1988 on Virgin Records and
included the singles "Cowboys and Indians", "Heaven for Everyone" (featuring
