The Cox Family
The Cox Family is an American family bluegrass-gospel ensemble from Cotton
Valley, Louisiana, formed in 1976 by fiddler Willard Cox alongside his children
Evelyn Cox, Sidney Cox, Suzanne Cox, and Lynn Cox, whose warm close-harmony
singing and acoustic blend of country, gospel, and traditional bluegrass earned
them acclaim on albums such as Heartaches Along the Horizon (1987), Everybody’s
Reaching Out for Someone (1993), I Know Who Holds Tomorrow with Alison Krauss
