The Clouds
The Clouds, an indie rock band from Sydney, Australia, formed in December 1989
with frontwomen Jodi Phillis on guitar and vocals, and Patricia "Trish" Young on
bass and vocals. The group secured a recording contract with Red Eye Records in
1990 and released their debut EP Cloud Factory that October, which peaked at
number 118 on the ARIA charts. Their follow-up EP Loot, featuring the song "Soul
Eater", reached number 22 on the ARIA chart in April 1991. The Clouds' first
studio album, Penny Century, was released in October 1991 and peaked at number
