The Choir
Atmospheric alternative rock band, The Choir was formed in 1983 in Southern
California by Derri Daugherty on guitar and lead vocals, Steve Hindalong on
drums and percussion, and Tim Chandler on bass. They began as Youth Choir within
the Calvary Chapel Christian punk and alternative music scene. Their first
official recording was "It's So Wonderful" released in 1983 on What's Shakin'.
The band's debut album under the name Youth Choir, Voices in Shadows, was
