The Business was a British punk rock and oi! band formed in 1979 in Lewisham, South London. The group was founded by Steven Kent, Micky Fitz, Nicholas Cunningham, and Martin Smith. In 1981, the band debuted with the single “Harry May”, which reached number 13 on the UK Indie Chart and remained on the chart for three months. Their early recordings included the EP Smash the Discos (1983) and the studio album Suburban Rebels (1983).
