The Bryan Ferry Orchestra
The Bryan Ferry Orchestra is a retro-jazz ensemble founded and led by Bryan
Ferry. The group performs Ferry’s songs in the style of 1920s jazz, focusing on
the melodies of his compositions without vocals. The ensemble’s debut album, The
Jazz Age, was released in 2012 by BMG Rights Management. The orchestra includes
musicians such as Colin Good on piano and arrangements, Enrico Tomasso on cornet
and trumpet, Malcolm Earle-Smith on trombone, and John Sutton on drums. Ferry
does not perform or sing with the orchestra.
