The Breetles, an American power pop band led by Chris Breetveld, formed in
Kendall Park, New Jersey around 1985. The original lineup included Jim Johnson
on guitar and Dennis McGrath on vocals and harmonica. The band's music has been
described as resembling that of The Who, The Beatles, and The Byrds, with
influences from Nazz and Todd Rundgren. Their debut album Squares in Paris was
