The Bouncing Souls
The Bouncing Souls, an American punk rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey,
formed in 1989. The founding members, Greg Attonito, Pete Steinkopf, and Bryan
Kienlen, grew up in Basking Ridge before relocating to New Brunswick to join the
local music scene. The group released their debut studio album, The Good, the
Bad, and the Argyle, in 1994, followed by Maniacal Laughter in 1996. In 1997,
they signed with Epitaph Records and issued the self-titled album The Bouncing
Souls, which included the songs “Cracked” and “Kate is Great”. Michael McDermott
