The BossHoss
Founded in Berlin in 2004, The BossHoss established themselves unexpectedly
quickly as a country rock band in the German-speaking mainstream. After Sascha
Vollmer, Alec Völkel and Michael Frick initially only performed in smaller
clubs, a record deal with Universal Music beckoned in the same year the band was
founded. With their first single "Hey Ya" (2005), a cover of OutKast, The
BossHoss immediately reached number 41 in the German charts. The entire debut
album Internashville Urban Hymns, which is released just a few weeks later, also
features new interpretations of well-known...
