The Bombay Royale
The Bombay Royale was an 11-piece Australian band formed in Melbourne in 2010 by
Andy Williamson. The group blended funk, disco, and pop with Indian classical
and folk music, inspired by Bollywood soundtracks. Their debut album You Me
Bullets Love was released in 2012 and chosen as the iTunes Breakthrough World
Music Album for that year. The band gained international recognition with
performances at Glastonbury Festival in 2013 and their U.S. debut at GlobalFEST
in January 2014. Their second album, The Island of Dr Electrico, was released
