Straight from small-town America, The All-American Rejects were a counterpoint
to the dull existence that could have been in store for Stillwater born and bred
high schoolers Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler. Formed in 1999, they released
their self-titled debut album two years later thrusting the band into the
mainstream and delivering a platinum single in the form of "Swing, Swing"
(2003). The single attracted the attention of record label Interscope, who
signed them up. The duo became a quartet when Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor
