Thanh Tùng, born on September 15, 1948 in Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, was a Vietnamese
pop music composer and songwriter. He studied at the Pyongyang Conservatory,
graduating in 1971. He worked for Voice of Vietnam and later for Ho Chi Minh
City Television’s orchestra. His catalog grew to over 200 songs, including "Hát
với chú ve con", "Hoàng hôn màu lá", and “Chuyện tình của biển". He was also a
businessman who was interested in mineral water, restaurant and hotel
businesses, and real estate. He also opened a restaurant called The Twins in
July 1998 in Ho Chi Minh City. He passed away...
