Thanh Hà, born Hà Trương in Đà Nẵng, South Vietnam in, 1969, is a Vietnamese
American singer. As a child, she sang on Đà Nẵng radio and later moved to Saigon
after graduating from high school. In 1991, Thanh Hà escaped to a boat people
refugee camp in the Philippines, where she first performed in front of an
audience during a beauty contest. She won $150 for her performance, marking a
significant breakthrough in her music career.
Thanh Hà released her debut album Ước hẹn in 1995, followed by several other
