Tess Gaerthé (born 21 August 1991), known professionally as Tess, is a Dutch pop
and jazz singer from Amsterdam. Gaerthé was raised in Putte, Belgium, and began
her career as a child star. In 2005, the singer represented the Netherlands in
the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the recording "Stupid". The entry earned
82 points and finished in number seven. Following the contest, Gaerthé released
the recording "Mijn allerbeste vriend" as the theme for the television series
