Tele, a German rock group originating from Freiburg, was founded in the early
2000s by Patrick Reising and Stefan Wittich under the working title Eschholz;
the ensemble later expanded to five members and relocated to Berlin in 2002.
Their first self‑released album, 1001 Verdacht (2000), showcased an indie‑guitar
sound that evolved into post‑rock arrangements, drawing subtle 1980s influences
