The son of legendary British folk artists Richard and Linda Thompson, Teddy
Thompson was born on February 19, 1976 in London, England. He formed his first
band at the age of 18 and also appeared on his father’s late ‘90s releases
including Mock Tudor. Teddy Thompson decided to move to America to pursue his
musical career. Leaving the safety and comfort of his homeland, the move to
America inspired his art. He released his self-titled debut album in 2000 to
