Tank, a British heavy metal band from London, was formed in 1980 by Algy Ward,
Peter Brabbs, and Mark Brabbs. The group's early influences ranged from punk to
classic heavy rock. Tank quickly gained traction as an intensely touring act,
sharing stages with notable bands such as Motörhead and Girlschool. Their debut
single "Don’t Walk Away" was produced by Fast Eddie Clarke in 1981, followed by
