Satomi Takasugi, born July 11, 1985 in Tokyo, is a Japanese pop singer and
songwriter. She was discovered by the Platinum Production agency in Shibuya at
age 16 while still in high school. In 2002, she formed the gravure idol group
With alongside Chinatsu Wakatsuki, Iori, and Kana Hoshino. The group released a
photobook but disbanded shortly after with little success. Takasugi's solo
career began in 2006 when she performed at "Rhythm Nation 2006," sponsored by
Avex, covering Yoshiyuki Osawa's "Soshite Boku wa Tohō ni Kureru." She signed to
