Takao Kisugi, born Takao Kisugi in Tokyo, Japan, on November 16, 1950, is a
Japanese singer-songwriter and composer. Kisugi debuted as a singer-songwriter
in 1976 with his single “Asai Yume” and debut studio album Asai Yume. He
frequently collaborates with his sister, lyricist Etsuko Kisugi. He gained
prominence in 1977 after composing “My Luxury Night” for Hatsumi Shibata. In
1981, Kisugi achieved a major hit as a performer with his single “Yume no
Tochu”, which peaked at number 4 on the Oricon chart, while Hiroko Yakushimaru's
cover version “Sailor Fuku to Kikanju” reached Numb...
