T.O.Y.
TOY, formerly known as Evils Toy, is a German electronic music band formed in
Witten in the summer of 1992 by Volker Lutz and Thorsten Brenda. The group's
early sound leaned toward dark electro before developing into a combination of
electro-pop, drum and bass, and later future-pop influences. In 1998, Oliver
Taranczewski of RE/Act joined the band, while Brenda later departed. Around the
turn of the millennium, they emerged from Evils Toy as a future-pop project. The
