Szymon Wydra, born on March 11, 1976, in Radom, Poland, is a Polish rock
vocalist and poet. He began his musical journey with the punk rock band
Nadzieja, which existed for two years. In 1992, Wydra formed Szymon Wydra &
Carpe Diem, serving as both vocalist and leader. His breakthrough moment came in
2002 when he joined the first edition of the Polish Idol, placing third. A few
months after, Szymon Wydra & Carpe Diem released their first album, Teraz wiem,
on December 13, 2002, followed by Bezczas in November 2005. In August 2007,
