Sys Bjerre
Sys Bjerre, born on May 15, 1985 in Vanløse, Denmark, is a Danish
singer-songwriter. Her career began when Danish musician Thomas Buttenschøn
discovered her in 2007, leading to a tour and a contract with Universal Music.
Her debut single "Malene" topped the Danish charts for eight weeks, and the
album Gør Det Selv reached Number 1 on the album charts in 2008. In 2012, she
released the album Sys. Bjerre also hosted the TV music show Boogie on DR1
between 2008 and 2010 and performed at the Zulu Awards in 2010 and 2011.
