Born on February 7, 1943 in Limoilou (Canada) and died on April 30, 2002 in Lévis (Canada), Sylvain Lelièvre was a Quebec singer and poet. In 1963, he enrolled in the faculty of literature at Université Laval, graduating three years later with a bachelor's degree. That same year, he won the international "chanson sur mesure" competition organized for the radio community of French-language programs in Canada, France, Belgium and Switzerland, with his song " Les Amours anciennes ".
