Born in Los Angeles on June 7, 1993, Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown aka Swae Lee grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi. With his brother Slim Jxmmi (Aaquil Ibinshaman Brown), he formed the rap duo Rae Sremmurd, which achieved international success with the albums SremmLife (2015) and SremmLife 2 (2016). On the solo front, Swae Lee makes his debut on a Mike Will Made-It track, "Drinks on Us", followed by appearances on Wiz Khalifa and French Montana, whose track "Unforgettable" reaches #3 on the charts.
