generation of female rockers from Pat Benatar to The Runaways, Suzi Quatro was
born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 3, 1950. Susan Kay Quatro first appeared as a
child in her father's semi-professional jazz group, The Art Quatro Trio. It was
mainly in the wake of her sister Patti Quatro (Patti Pleasure) that young Suzi
Quatro made her rock debut in 1964. She became bassist and singer in the
all-girl garage rock band The Pleasure Seekers, formed by her sister and two
