Susumu Hirasawa is a Japanese musician and composer born in 1954. In 1973, he
formed the progressive rock band Mandrake before establishing the electronic
rock group P-Model in 1979. Hirasawa launched his solo career in 1989 with the
release of the album Water in Time and Space. His subsequent recordings included
the studio albums The Ghost in Science (1990), Virtual Rabbit (1991), Sim City
(1995), Technique of Relief (1998) and Philosopher's Propeller (2000). He is
