Summer Walker
Summer Marjani Walker, known professionally as Summer Walker, was born on April
11, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an American singer and songwriter who
began her music career by teaching herself to play the guitar through YouTube
tutorials. In late 2017, Walker signed with Love Renaissance, an imprint of
Interscope Records, following her discovery on Vine. Her debut commercial
mixtape, Last Day of Summer, was released in October 2018 and featured the lead
single "Girls Need Love," which became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
