The Suicideboys, officially stylized as $uicideboy$, is an American rap duo
formed in 2013 by cousins Scott Anthony "$crim" Arceneaux Jr. (born
April 11 1989, Marrero, Louisiana) and Aristos Norman "Ruby da Cherry" Petrou
(born April 22 1990, Metairie, Louisiana). Both began experimenting with music
in their youth; Arceneaux learning to DJ and produce on a laptop acquired from
drug sales, and Petrou playing violin and drums before joining local punk bands.
