Sud Sound System, an Italian reggae band from Salento, Puglia, became active in
1989. Known for blending Jamaican rhythms with local sounds and the Salento
dialect, their breakthrough came in June 1991 with "Fuecu/T'a sciuta bona", a
vinyl single that led to numerous concerts and media appearances. The band
