Subsonica, an Italian alternative rock band, was formed in Turin in 1996 by
Samuel Umberto Romano on vocals and guitars, Massimiliano Casacci on vocals and
guitars, Davide Dileo on vocals, keyboards, piano, and programming, Enrico Matta
on drums, percussion, and programming, and Luca Vicini on bass and guitars.
Their debut album, Subsonica, was released in the spring of 1997 under EMI
Records. The band gained significant success in 2000 by playing at the Sanremo
