Waymond Anderson, known professionally as Suavé, was born on February 22, 1966,
in Los Angeles. He began his career as an R&B singer after being discovered at a
New Edition concert in California during the mid-1980s and decided to pursue a
music career. In 1988, he achieved chart success with his cover of The
Temptations' "My Girl", which peaked at Number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and
Number 3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. This was followed by
