Stüba Philharmonie

Stüba Philharmonie is a German symphonic ensemble founded in 1999 by volunteer musicians from Thuringia and surrounding states, originally named the Thuringian State Youth SPASS Orchestra. The group first performed in August 1999 at St. James' Church in Ilmenau and quickly expanded to regional concerts. In 2003, the orchestra broadened its scope to include puppet theatre productions, launching the Puppet STÜBA series.
