Stretch 'n' Vern
Stretch & Vern, an English electronic music duo, was formed in 1993 and
consisted of Stuart Collins, known as Stretch Silvester, and Julian Peake, known
as Jules Vern. Their breakthrough came with the release of "I'm Alive" in August
1996, which prominently sampled Earth, Wind & Fire's "Boogie Wonderland". The
single reached Number 6 on the UK Singles Chart, Number 2 on the US Billboard
Hot Dance Club Play chart, and topped both the Swedish and UK Dance charts. In
