Stick Against Stone, a post-punk/no wave band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was formed in 1981. The group initially gained traction in the local music scene but did not release their first full album until The Index of Directions in 2010. They went through several lineup changes and relocated multiple times, residing in Brooklyn, New York; Eugene, Oregon; and San Francisco, California before disbanding in 1990.
