Steve Seskin, born on March 31, 1952, in The Bronx, New York, is an American
singer and songwriter. He began playing guitar at age 14 and started writing
songs shortly after. In 1971, he moved to San Francisco and began his music
career as a street performer, progressing to festivals and clubs. After opening
for Crystal Gayle, Seskin relocated to Nashville in 1985 to pursue songwriting.
His breakthrough came with "Grown Men Don't Cry", recorded by Tim McGraw, which
reached Number 1 on the Billboard Country Singles & Tracks chart in June 2001
and was nominated for a Grammy Award. ...
