Steve Lawler (born on 29 May 1973 in Birmingham, England) is a British
electronic music DJ and producer. He developed an early interest in music while
listening to pirate radio at sixteen, and began staging underground parties in a
tunnel beneath the M42 motorway from 1990 to 1994, attracting over five hundred
attendees and leading to club residencies. His first major break arrived in 1995
when DJ Jason Bye invited him to play daily at Ibiza’s Café Mambo, and in 1997
he secured a residency at Cream under Darren Hughes. In 2000 he released the
