Patricia Stephanie Nakasian, also known as Stephanie Nakasian, born on August 24, 1954, in Washington, D.C., is an American jazz vocalist and voice teacher. She grew up in Bronxville, New York, studying classical piano and violin, singing in choirs, and studying voice. Nakasian majored in economics at Northwestern University, where she received her BA and MBA. She worked as a financial consultant until 1981, when she began her full-time music career.
