Steam Powered Giraffe, a steampunk musical comedy project, was formed in San Diego, United States of America, in 2008 by Isabella "Bunny" Bennett and David Michael Bennett. The siblings, who were students in theatre at the time, were inspired to create the group after seeing their mime professor perform as a robot.
