Starbuck, a pop-rock group from Atlanta, Georgia, were formed in 1974 by
keyboardist/vocalist/producer Bruce Blackman and marimba player Bo Wagner. The
band included guitarist Johnny Walker, who had previously been part of the
Mississippi-based 'sunshine pop' group Eternity's Children, known for their hit
"Mrs. Bluebird" on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1968. Starbuck’s breakthrough came
with their debut single "Moonlight Feels Right", which reached number three on
