Standing on the Corner
Standing on the Corner is an American avant-garde music collective from Crown
Heights, Brooklyn, established in 2014. Led by Gio Escobar, the group originally
formed as Children of the Corner with Jack Nolan before evolving after
collaborating with producer Jasper Marsalis. The group released its self-titled
debut album, Standing on the Corner, in 2016, followed by Red Burns in 2017. In
2019, the collective contributed production and writing to Solange’s album When
I Get Home and Danny Brown’s uknowhatimsayin¿, specifically the track "Shine".
