Stacy Lattisaw, born on 25 November 1966 in Washington, D.C., is an American R&B
singer whose early exposure to music came from her family’s musical environment.
At age 12 she recorded her debut album Young & in Love for Cotillion, and the
following year released thes singles "Jump to the Beat", which reached Number 1
on the Dance Club Songs chart and number 3 on the UK Singles chart, and
"Let Me Be Your Angel", which reached U.S. Pop number 21 and U.S. R&B number 8,
