SPRING
Spring, a British rock band from Leicester, formed in 1970. Their debut album
Spring was released on RCA/Neon in 1971 after a pivotal moment when their van
broke down near Rockfield Studios. The album is notable for its use of the
mellotron. Despite supporting acts like Velvet Underground on tour, the band
disbanded in 1972 after failed attempts to record a second album. Unreleased
tracks and demos were later released as Untitled 2, as part of Esoteric Records'
