Spektrum is a London‑based house act formed in 1999 by Gabriel Olegavich and
Lola Olafisoye, who began collaborating on songwriting and production after
meeting in their hometown of England; Gabriel Olegavich handled synthesizer,
programming and vocals while Lola Olafisoye contributed vocals, and the group
later expanded with drummer Isaac Tucker and bassist Teia Williams. Their first
single, "Breaker", was released on their own label in August 2001 and received
airplay from Gilles Peterson, followed by "Freakbox" in March 2002, which
