Soulfly
American nu metal / groove and thrash metal band Soulfly was formed in Phoenix
(Arizona) in 1997 by Max Cavalera, formerly singer and guitarist with Sepultura.
With its homonymous debut album in 1998, followed by Prophecy (2004) and Conquer
(2008), Soulfly has far surpassed the status of a new guitarist's project to
become a leading metal entity. In 2010, the album Omen offered the right mix of
groove metal, Sepultura thrash metal and the nu metal of previous albums. In
2012, Enslaved marks the arrival of two new members to an ever-changing band.
