Soulsonic Force was an American electro-funk and hip hop ensemble from New York
established in 1980. The group was led by Afrika Bambaataa, born as Lance
Taylor, and consisted of the musicians Mr. Biggs, Pow Wow, The G.L.O.B.E, and DJ
Jazzy Jay. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style that
blended German electro-pop, British rock, and African-American disco rap. Their
