Australian alternative rock band, Something for Kate, formed in 1994 in
Melbourne. The group initially consisted of Julian Carroll on bass guitar, Paul
Dempsey on lead vocals and guitar, and Clint Hyndman on drums. They played their
first gig on September 12th, 1994 at the Punter's Club in Melbourne and built a
varied fan base, recording a demo tape that sold out of multiple pressings. In
