Something Corporate
Something Corporate was formed in 1998 in Laguna Niguel, California, by Andrew
McMahon (lead vocals, piano), Josh Partington (lead guitar), Kevin Page (bass),
and Brian Ireland (drums). After early demos, the band recorded Ready… Break in
2000, which led to a contract with MCA and Drive‑Thru Records. Their debut EP
Audioboxer (2001) featured the single "If You C Jordan", which peaked at number
29 on the Alternative Songs chart. In 2002 the band released Leaving Through the
Window, debuting at Number 1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers and reaching
