Sofia Rebecca Hildegard Berntson, known professionally as Sofia, was born on
August 4, 1979, in Stockholm, Sweden. Sofia is known as a Swedish singer who
often sings in Greek. Until she was about sixteen, she visited Greece every
summer on vacation and fell in love with the country and its music and culture.
She participated in Melodifestivalen in 2007 with the song "Hypnotized".
Although she did not advance to the final, her performance was noted for its
