Smashproof
Smashproof, a New Zealand rap group from Auckland, emerged in 2005 when members
Deach, Tyree, and Young Sid released the club‑hit "Ride Til I Die". Their early
solo projects, including Tyree’s 2006 album Now or Never and Young Sid’s 2007
debut The Truth, earned critical acclaim and award nominations. The trio’s
breakthrough came with the single "Brother" (featuring Gin Wigmore), which
entered the New Zealand charts in 2009, reached Number 1 in its fifth week, and
