Evan McDonald, known professionally as slayr, was born on May 22, 2007, and is
an American rapper, singer, and record producer from Philadelphia. His first
viral song was "Fourth Gear Cypher", released in 2021. His debut studio effort,
Half Blood, followed in 2025, and a deluxe reissue titled Half Blood (BloodLuxe)
in 2026. In the same year, he performed at Rolling Loud in Orlando and Summer
Smash, where he also made a guest appearance during PlaqueBoyMax's set. His
